STATEMENT
My artistic endeavors center around an exploration of the human figure and energy and its relationships with space and time, employing a diverse range of dry and wet mediums such as acrylic and oil paint, pastels, watercolors, graphite, and markers.
I am interested in the interactions between organic shapes and negative spaces that occur in the environment around me, and the compositions that result from them. In my creations, I aim to immitate them in my own language, weaving in elements of fantasy to articulate my perspective on the human experience. In painting, color plays a crucial role in my work. Building my palette intuitively as I go serves as a conduit for expressing vulnerability, passion and exploration. As an artist my vision is rooted in the desire to connect with others through visual conversation, creating familiar yet imaginary dreamscapes.
